Avoid all types of unfavorable Qi.

Some situations produce unhelpful types of Qi, causing problems for a building's occupants, and even physical or mental ill-health.

Unfavorable Qi can be grouped as follows:

Negative Oi: Certain buildings or decorating materials have a negative effect on Qi energy; synthetic fibers, synthetic building materials, artificial lighting and air conditioning all add their own artificial Qi energy, which negatively influences the Qienergy of the occupants and could lead to mental and physical exhaustion.

Stagnant Qi: Slow-moving and stagnant Qi is produced by dark corners, cluttered rooms and dampness. They can lead to a slowing down of your personal Qi energy, which may cause serious health problems and a loss of direction in your life.

Fast-Flowing Qi: Qi energy moving quickly in a straight line can destabilize the flow through an entire building; so long corridors, straight paths or several features in a straight line should be avoided. Fast-moving Qi energy directed towards you could push away some of your own Qi energy, making you feel insecure and under attack.

If you find that you are affected by unfavorable Qi in your environment, try to eliminate it  where you can. Since this is not always possible, implement cures to offset these unpleasant types of Qi.
